POKÉMON LEAFGREEN CHEAT CODES AND GUIDE
Are there any LeafGreen Pokémon cheat codes? LeafGreen has been around for a long time. One of the original remakes, LeafGreen debuted in 2004 and quickly became a hit with trainers. After many years, players are still eager to revisit it, but they’re always looking for a leg up in the form of LeafGreen Pokémon cheat codes. Fortunately, like many games, there are some!
Cheats are sometimes frowned upon, but they’re often codes that are in the game and designed to give players a secret boost. The only reason they’re not more widely accessible is that they generally make the game a lot easier in some aspects. Nevertheless, there are plenty available.
POKÉMON LEAFGREEN CHEAT CODES LIST
Keep in mind that cheats aren’t a normal part of the game. This can cause issues with the game, especially for one that’s nearing its 20th birthday. Additionally, using multiple cheats at once is dangerous. Adding several different parts of the game that aren’t originally in can cause an overload. The old game can crash pretty easily that way. Before you use cheats, always be sure to save the game because crashes are unexpected and you don’t want to lose progress.
Nevertheless, here are some of the most prominent LeafGreen Pokémon cheat codes.
Reminder:
These are for the emulator version of the game.
The original release on GameBoy did not have any such cheats.
WALKING THROUGH WALLS LEAFGREEN POKÉMON CHEAT CODES
The following two codes can give trainers the ability to walk through walls:
- 509197D3 542975F4
- 78DA95DF 44018CB4
With these, players can practically go anywhere. Any structure (including trees) that was designed as a barrier is no longer. You can simply go through them. This can create a non-linear playthrough and it can put trainers in situations they’re not leveled up for, but that’s the fun part. The game is a lot more random and it can be a bigger challenge.
LEGENDARY BIRD TELEPORTATION LEAFGREEN POKÉMON CHEAT CODES
These codes can put players right where the Legendary is. This can be a great way to skip forward or shiny hunt for a Legendary:
- Mt. Ember for Moltres- 23ADAABA A9000BEB
- Seafoam Islands for Articuno- BC4AFF82 6C4609A2
- Power Plant for Zapdos- EA5BB107 05E634BB
- One Island for Mewtwo- A6A339F5 FC0ADC79
These codes will send your avatar right to these Legendary Pokémon, which can be a huge boost. Playing through the game with a Legendary in tow makes it a lot more fun and can make even the most difficult trainers light work.
BYPASSING GYM BATTLES POKÉMON LEAFGREEN CHEAT CODES
These two codes will allow trainers to bypass any gym battles but give them all the badges anyway:
- EFCE867D
- 5403D40D
Getting badges is important. In many games, it’s the only way certain level Pokémon can be caught or the only way they’ll listen to trainers. In every game, it’s the only way to challenge the Elite Four and the Champion, so it’s a good way to jump to the good stuff in LeafGreen.
SKIP RANDOM BATTLES IN POKÉMON LEAFGREEN
Sometimes, the most annoying part of a Pokémon game is the random battles. These codes will skip them:
- A202166EFF00
- 820255AC0000
Random battles occur all the time when exploring a new route or area. Still, fighting one guy’s single Pokémon is often boring and feels like a waste of time. With these Pokémon cheat codes, that isn’t an issue anymore.
STEAL AN ENEMY POKÉMON CODES
These codes can allow you to steal an enemy trainer’s Pokémon:
- 4D83B1BF E0F5F507
- 8E883EFF 92E9660D
- B6C5368A 08BE8FF4
- 90B4977C C0151DC2
This can be advantageous to get high-level Pokémon without exerting the effort to do so.
To steal the enemy’s Pokemon, throw a Pokeball at it. Before you do, press the L+R buttons repeatedly. This helps ensure you steal the Pokémon and not a bad egg. If you do get a bad egg, close the game without saving and start again.
LEGENDARIES IN THE GRASS CHEAT CODES FOR POKÉMON LEAFGREEN
Finding Legendaries before you’re supposed to can be fun. These codes can trigger encounters in the grass and not just in the special places they reside:
- 0000BE99000A
- 1003DAE60007
- Articuno – 83007CEE0090
- Zapdos – 83007CEE0091
- Moltres – 83007CEE0092
- Mewtwo – 83007CEE0096
- Mew (won’t obey) – 83007CEE0097
- Ho-oh – 83007CEE00FA
- Lugia – 83007CEE00F9
- Celebi – 83007CEE00FB
- Kyogre – 83007CEE0194
- Groudon – 83007CEE0195
- Rayquaza – 83007CEE0196
- Regirock – 83007CEE0191
- Registeel – 83007CEE0192
- Regice – 83007CEE0193
- Jirachi – 83007CEE0199
- Deoxys (won’t obey) – 83007CEE019A
Once you activate the code, visit the nearby grass and run around until you get an encounter. This will be a Legendary. Fortunately, it will be a low level Pokémon, thus making it a lot easier to catch. You can then level it up as you would with any other Pokémon.
INFINITE MONEY CHEAT
These are the Master codes:
- 00000554000A
- 101DC9B00007
- 830050000000
- 830050020000
And these are the cheat codes:
- 82025838104E
- 8202583AE971
Use these together to give yourself infinite money. With this, you will never run out of Pokéballs or healing items and you will always have a full inventory.
AUTOMATIC SHINY
Shiny hunting is a good pastime, but in many games it is wildly tedious. It involves running around for an encounter and seeing that it’s not shiny, exiting and starting again. It often doesn’t even yield a shiny for a very long time. Many players have to endure thousands of encounters before finding a shiny. Not so with these codes, though:
- A74320F4 175B5B22
- 18452A7D DDE55BCC
- 7FE56658 F483AC73
- F8B8373C BAB2B56F
To control which Pokémon’s shiny version you find, go to the place where they spawn. Enter the code and then wait for an encounter and it will be shiny. If you want a shiny Pikachu, go to the Pikachu spawn location and enter the code and trigger an encounter.
UNLIMITED MASTER BALLS
Master balls are the only way to guarantee a catch. They’re often used on Legendaries, especially since each Pokémon game generally only gives one. With this code, you can have unlimited Master balls:
- 82025840 0001
Never worry about a shiny breaking free and fleeing again. Never worry about a high-level Pokémon wasting your Pokéballs forever again, either. With unlimited Master balls, everything can and will be caught.

UNLIMITED RARE CANDY HACK FOR POKÉMON LEAFGREEN
Rare candies are great for leveling up, but they’re hard to get. With this code, trainers can get an unlimited supply of them:
- 82025840 0044
Enter this code and receive tons of rare candies. This can be used to level up Pokémon all the way if trainers want. When doing things like skipping random battles or catching low-level Legendaries, rare candies can be effective for leveling up the Pokémon to where they need to be.
